From all the folks at Living For The Brand
Cowboy Church…WELCOME!
Living For The Brand Cowboy Church was organized
in 2000 when a group of fellows decided to form a small church and get back to
simple Bible teaching and worship. They recognized the need in this small
country town of Athens, Texas to reach out to their buddies and their families
that didn't feel comfortable attending traditional church services. LFTB
was started with 8 people. Out of that 8, one had a harmonica and
keyboard and another had a guitar. Those 8 began to meet in the Rifle
Building of the Henderson County Fairgrounds. Today, Living For The Brand sits
on 20 plus acres on North Loop 7 in Athens, Texas and is the home of the
Aubrey Daniel Memorial Arena.
Each Sunday Morning, between 500-600 folks, from
all walks of life and all denominational backgrounds, gather here at Living For
The Brand to hear God’s word preached and worship together. The gospel of
Jesus is presented in a simple way that is easy to understand and practical for
everyday life application.
The music is different here, and we like it that
way! It’s a little country, a little western, a little swing, a little
bluegrass, and whole lot of gospel that lifts up the name of Jesus during
worship time. We don’t sing from hymnals and we don’t pass an offering
plate. The dress is casual--mostly jeans, but however you are comfortable
is how we want you to come. We believe that God is more concerned about
where you are going than where you have been. So no matter what your situation
in life, come as you are!
You’re always welcome at Living For The Brand
